Hidden problems in EpicCare?

So I’m reading through this post, and thinking I’m running into the same problem:

However, if I go in EpicCare and try to search on case number CS0005391642 or problem number PRB0315089, I get zero results.

I guess it makes sense that I can’t see other people’s help tickets, but it seems like I should be able to see problems that have been identified. Are problems in EpicCare hidden unless you are explicitly linked to it? It seems like identified bugs should be visible to all customers as long as customer’s data is protected. Maybe I just don’t know how to use the search??

Thanks.

I believe you have to search for PRBs in the Problem Repository and you can’t view other companies CS cases but can refer to them in your own tickets:

ok, yeah - thanks for pointing me to that. When I search on that number, nothing is returned. Maybe because it’s considered “closed”, and so it doesn’t return on the search?

Oh how I wish Ideas had this:

Exposes problem titles and states to better search tools, and makes it possible to track state and progress of problems over time.
Discreetely though please, we wouldn’t want this to get flagged as a nuisance and buried.

The problem repository is a PITA to search and some issues don’t seem to be in there.

This problem is under the “rejected” tab in my Dev Requests list (I’m the originator). There’s a separate Closed list where it looks like my accepted and resolved requests are, so you’re likely correct that it was marked as closed/rejected and so isn’t available for others to see.
