The site is not enabled for the user I tested with. The site doesn’t show on the main menu. But when I create a PO in another site, I can choose that new site as the destination.
BUT what was Epicors thought for “disabling” a site? While shuttering a plant isn’t something that happens often, it is some thing that definitely happens.
I get that they can’t be deleted because of existing transaction.
Did you got any way to hide plant …
Writing on BPM its not good option i guess, better there should be option just to InActive Plant but unfortunately its not there.
If you have better way kindly let me know…
We have closed a plant many months ago, and we’re still dealing with things like EDI import orders being set to ship from that plant, which is annoying. Definitely would like a “disabled” option on Plant.
For now, I’m going to try removing the plant/site from the user, like suggested in here. Maybe it will work for my purposes (sales orders created by EDI).
Yes i want to revive this “dead ass conversation”.
Did removing the plant/site from users work? We are closing 2 distribution sites in the next few months and i’m looking for ways to deal with a closed site in Epicor.
