Hideing Confidental Payments

In the payment entry instead of entering or searching for a vendor id
just type the name and do a "pay misc". This is one of the few places
that doesn't require a valid id. The info will also be available through
the gl account tracker until you do a purge gl history.

How does the "one-time vendor" work and will info stay in history?

Anyone have any good ideas on how to hide confidential payments so that
they
don't show up in Vendor Tracker?

For example, An AP check is cut to the owner of the company for whatever

reason. We don't want that check to show up for others to see.

One thought I had was to create another company just for these types of
transactions and then use gl adjustments between the companies to keep
everything
in sinc.

Thanks
Jeremy

If it doesn't happen often, you should be able to cut the check without
having to go through and adding all of the information. We cut
miscellaneous checks every now and then for COD"s or whatever and do not
create new Vendors and everything else.

Jeremy,
How about cutting the check to a "one time vendor" that way there would
be no record in vendor tracker.
I think about the only place you can see these are in the bank
reconciliation or with report builder/crystal.
