Hiding Rows in a Kinetic System Data View

We’re seeing employee pay rates in a couple of apps, which is a HUGE problem. I know this isn’t a new issue, but I’m not having any luck making other folks’ solutions work, so I’m hoping someone out there has the magic answer.

Working with Kinetic forms, semi-customized, but not for the grid containing the data.

Have Field security set for the labor rate in the Employee & Labor Detail tables, but it’s not applied to any calculated fields.

Found Rates in Job Entry/Tracker under Activity > Ops > Labor Trans ([OprLaborDtl].[LaborCost]) OprLaborDtl is a Date View, fed by table OprLaborDtl which is not available to me, so I can’t manipulate via Method Directives or BAQ fixes. Also can’t remove fields from the built in dataview. Have tried to just disable the card in App Studio (which is not ideal, but will work), but it’s not disabled for the actual user. Any ideas on what I can try next?

Also - if anyone can point me to any other places rates might be visible, I’d be very grateful.

Pro tip: query ICE.ZDataField in your DB for FieldNames containing “labor” or “rate” (etc.) in them. That will give you a checklist to work through.

That table is fantastic for finding correlated fields across the numerous tables in the system.
