Hi,
I see Epicor 10 allows posting for Cycle Count for all items including those with variance. Normally items with variance appear to have “out of tolerance” and needs reasons before posting. But Epicor 10 allows posting without reasons for those items with discrepancies.
How can i prevent cycle count posting for items that have variance?

Cross check this checkbox, may be it is not selected.
Company configuration → Modules → Materials → Inventory → General
Dear @prash172 thanks for the feedback.
You are right. It was not selected. And that alone was not enough. I had to go further and setup ABC Codes where limitation for posting incase there is variance is set.
