How do I delete a corrupt BAQ?

Thank you. That was the piece of information that I was missing.

I was able to delete a corrupt BAQ a few years ago using a BPM, I found something in the group that helped. I believe the main table is Exports, it's not grouped in with the other BAQ tables that start with Query.

We are on Vantage 8.03.408a Progress.

I have a couple of BAQs that show up in the BAQ search screen, but if I try and open them, I get nothing. If I try and create a new on with the same name it says that it already exists. I've look at all the tables that start with "Query", and the data for the BAQ is there.

I don't see a table anywhere that is the parent of the "Query" tables. Anybody know which table holds the header information for BAQs? Anyone know how to fix a corrupt BAQ?

If I recall there are two ways. If you wait "forever" (well maybe an hour or two) the BAQ will eventually time out and then you can delete it. Otherwise, I've restarted the appservers/db to delete them.

The problem is that I can't even open the corrupt BAQs to delete them. I think I will have to delete them at the table level, but I can't figure out where the header information is stored.

Steve,

I did cross over a data base conversion utility 9780 when going to run another utility that is listed as fixes bad BAQ ID’s. Maybe you could run this in a training data base and see if it fixes the problem.

The problem is that I can't even open the corrupt BAQs to delete them. I think I will have to delete them at the table level, but I can't figure out where the header information is stored.
