How do I generate uomdb.db on 8.03.409C?

In the directory you should see a file called UOMDB.
Restore it using the progress restore command into that folder if the db is missing
You may even find a RestoreUOMDB.Bat script in there

I'm trying to migrate from 8.03.403 upwards to 9.05. I've created a VM running a clean install of 8.03.409C, and done a backup/restore/conversion of the .403 database successfully per the directions in the 8.03.409 service pack install guide.

Now I'm trying to prep the 8.03.409C database to migrate to 9.04. Following the pre-installation directions in the 9.04 guide, I'm trying to run the 9,800 conversion program on the 8.03.409C server, but it fails saying "Conversion database (cv/uomdb.db) was not found." And it's right, uomdb.db is missing from mfgsys803\clientserver\cv\uomdb.db There's a file named 'uomdb' but nothing named 'uomdb.db'.

The directions (section 5.7) make it sound like running 9,800 should generate the uomdb.db, but obviously that's not happening. What am I missing? Is there a step someplace else to generate the uomdb.db file? I've done nothing else with this VM but install 8.03.409C, copy and convert the database from 8.03.403, and attempted to run the 9,800 conversion.
