How Do I Issue Parts To A Job Which Are Not On The Original Meth

We have not found a way. Be careful when you do issue a different part
number to a specific bom material. The part number in the BOM does not
change, the qty will increase buy the issue qty and the cost will also
increase. This may be OK for parts being substituted intentionally but
is a problem if its a data entry error.

Hmmm, I didn't realise you could do that. 8.03.305 appears to have
the same functionality too...

Is there any way I can get it to create a new item on the BOM without
going through the engineering process...??

Can any body help with this one Please...?

In some cases I need to issue odd bits and pieces to a job which are
not on the original engineered method BOM...

Do I have to un-engineer the job, modify the BOM, and the re-engineer
the job before I can perform the issue...?

Is there any way I can just issue miscellaneous parts and be done with
it..?

The "Issue Miscellaneous Materials" option does not let me issue
anything to a job, so its of no help in this instance...

Thanks,

Nick
In 403c I can issue any part to a job using issue material. The
material from the BOM comes up as default, but then I can put in any
part number and quantity and it will accept it.
