How do I type into my UD field?

Can someone please help me figure this out challenge?
Kinetic 2024.1.10 Version 11.3.100.0

I created TWO UD fields in my JobHead table as seen in screenshot below. I NEED to be able to type into these fields. Our Kitting department head will use this dashboard. The user needs to be able to type into both fields.

1 called JobHead_EBRnum_c field
…and the other called JobHead_KittingComments_c.

I don’t know where to make this happen. =(
How do I make it so I can type into these two UD fields??
…AND how can I control it? Meaning so that other users who access the dashboard cannot override existing comments??

I tried adding Ep Binding but that did not work

Sounds like you are needing an updatable Dashboard.
First you need to setup your BAQ as Updatable and then the Dashboard.
Then you can either setup a Classic Updatable Dashboard
(see the ICE User Guide for that)
Or you can assign the UBAQ to a grid, this post might help you (depends on your version)
