How does a req get approved?

Make sure that you have set up one requisition action as "approved - send to
purchasing" and click the send to purchasing box. A tip that I received
when we set this up: number your actions in their descriptions:

01 Dispatch for approval
02 approve - send to purchasing

that way they show up in the order they need to be done, instead of
alphabetical.

Setup Requisition Actions (Purchase Management master files). Then
after you approve a requisition, it will show up as a suggestion for the
buyers.
