# How i can set the value to textbox POdetail.partnum=Jobhead.partnum

How i can set the value to textbox . When i creates a purchase order for subcontracting, and i inserts Job numner, further details are not displaying automaticaly into the part details area...now i am writing a BPM to set POdetail.partnum=Jobhead.partnum.I am writing a BPM on PO business object ,ChangeRelJobNum method.

Here is the code..
if v_trantype = 'PUR-SUB' then do:
	if (v_jobNum<>' ' ) then do:
	find first JobHead where JobHead.JobNum = v_JobNum no-lock.
		if avail(JobHead) then do:
assign ttPodetail.partnum =jobhead.PartNum. //for setting value from jobhead.partnum
		
end.		
end.
end.


it doesn't make any change..need a help.

Standard functionality will pull the part number in from the JobOper.partnum.
Check how the job is setup as the part, description, etc should come into the PODetail table when you are creating the line.
Take a look at a purchase order suggestion for the same job and generate an order from the suggestion.

i have tired for both, but it doesn't retrive partnum from jobhead table..should i have change method ?

@Bruce, this PO is created manually, sometimes we have to create PO for outsource supplier for some operations..When i enter job number ,standard functionality should pull partnum, description. But in this case nothing happend as we expected..is there any setup ?

Are you creating the subcontract (not just Operation) on the job?
When you are in the PO LIne, you can create a line for subcontracting and right click in the operation and add one to the job.

Greetings ...
 Actually , the subcontract operation is defined at Job entry Level, so i have to just select operation and forward it to supplier. I am not trying to ADD operation. When i have tried as u say, this screen is for adding new operation or updating existing operations. When i selects ADD , it adds new operation, in this case i already have ope 20 for subcontract,and  it adds new ope 30.
My simple expectation is after job selection  ,part number should be displayed in part textbox.
