How to customize called form

Hi all,

I’m looking to customize the lot attribute module, but I’m not sure how to go about doing so as the normal menu options are not present when this module loads…thanks for that Epicor!

I know I need the process calling info in the dialog that opens in customization mode, but this form can be called from at least two places I’m aware of, so even if I knew how to get to the customization, I don’t know that I could handle the different calling apps and make sure the customization loads no matter where it’s called from.

You need to have the same customization name on all 3 forms. Then it will magically load correctly.

Scratch that this isn’t a subform, just set the Calling Context Maintenance to call a Custom Menu with the customization applied.

Thanks, Jose. I don’t immediately understand your reply, but let me dig around and see if I can’t figure it out.

Leave the Calling App blank. It will run the menu for all instances.

I still don’t know how to get into customization mode though…no worries, I’m going to roll the dice with Epicor support on this one.
