Set the part or part class that it belongs to as Inspection Required and then it will go to Inspection Warehouse and in the Inspection Processing queue automatically at Receipt Entry. If it is not set u¶ at those levels it can be set up at Supplier or manually at PO entry

This is probably a simple question with a simple answer. We can not figure out on how to setup a part to receive directly into inspection. We know how to do it in 6.1, but can figure out how to make it happen in 8.03. The strange thing is that we have a part that is somehow setup like this and can't turn it off. Please let me know what I am missing.

Thanks

If you will be receiving this part from outside, be sure to check the
inspection required box on the PO\Lines tab.

You can also check this on the part class. So if you have a special
class of parts that always have to be inspected go here.

I think the hierarchy is Part and then the Part class. But I could be
wrong on the order and it could be the other way, part class and then
part!

Excuse me, I meant the PO and the Part Class, or vice versa!
