How to get MRP to create Suggestion for Forecast Demand

Hi,

I am testing out forecasts (using Forecast Entry) and trying to work out how to get MRP to create suggestions for forecast demand.

I have the following part in Time Phase, with a forecast demand of 30 on 02/12/2024. When I run MRP, it does not create a suggestion for the balance required.

I reviewed the MRP Technical Ref’ guide to check settings and saw this:

So I set the forecast window to ‘365’ days before and after the forecast date.

However, MRP still isn’t generating a suggestion. What could I be missing?

What is your cutoff date when running MRP?

What does the MRP log say if you search for that part number?

When we see this in our time phase it’s usually because we don’t have the suggestions flag checked to see that there is a change needed. Did you check for an increase suggestion on one of your PO’s that are already there?
