We often have people that have come and gone from our company multiple times. Because of that, we would like to record the multiple hire and termination dates in the system in order to calculate turnover, or just for general record keeping. The PREmployee record has a single date for hire and termination, with no child tables to handle multiple dates. Do any of you attempt to keep the same person on the same employee record with many different working time periods? If you do how do you handle the extra records?

Doesn’t that seem kind of ridiculous to have to customize to get that? Doesn’t that seem like a pretty normal thing to need?
