It’s unfortunately not part of the data set on jobclosing. Job Closing has its own little subset of the jobhead dataset.

Maybe try setting RowMod to “U”

What method are you updating in the BAQ? Custom directive or base?

Not sure there’s a way around that, short of programming BPMs to un-engineer your jobs, save the changes, and then re-engineer/re-release (depending original status of the job). I got it working finally. The rowmod was the key, but also I was able to send a jobhead.engineered = false which allowed me to save but because that’s not an eligible field for updating in the BAQ leaves the status alone on the jobhead record.
