We need the ability to section off part of a lot into a new lot number. It looks like the Inventory Transfer functionality would be the easiest to use. I have ran the traces and looked at the SPM options but I don’t see an obvious path for moving the lot info (expiration date, firmware, manufacture date…) from the original to the new lot. Any ideas or suggestions? Or should I just make a custom Split Lot process?

If your break out lot is a sub set number of the original lot number:
999999 to break out to 999999-01 you would never need to copy the the extra fields because you could always reference the original lot numbers information.
Just a different way of looking at the issue, for what it’s worth.
