How to Zero-out Cost/Qty in 8.03?

I'm assuming you did this via Service Connect using the
Epicor-supplied workflows?

Of course you should have done this first in your Pilot environment
and tested carefully, but I know from firsthand experience that it is
easy with ServiceConnect and this particular workflow to think you
didn't load it properly the first time and resubmit.

Well you should be able to load a CostQty file with negative values
for the TranQty field that should balance out your erroneous
transactions.

Given that you're still a few weeks away from go-live, I would wonder
why you are loading this data so soon in your live system to begin with.
Logically you would want to wait until the last minute before going live
since your physical inventory balances are presumably in flux on a daily
basis, but I assume you've worked through that process.

Subject: [Vantage] How to Zero-out Cost/Qty in 8.03?

We are weeks from going live on Vantage 8.03 (currently on 407).

We loaded a costqty file during data conversion from one of our legacy
systems, not once but twice. Now the system is infested with bogus
transactions and on-hands.

Has anyone any ideas about how to zero out our onhands and costs and
GL etc.?
