HP Server Problems, Can Progress or Vantage be causing this

Once i go into the BIOS Setup (On the hardware side) it shows the
drives as failed and I have to re-initilize them, reformat them, and
rebuild them!

The local mirror Vantage installation is running off the controller
card built into the motherboard and the motherboard HAS been totally
replaced

Bad point and future point for reference
Our system (no my decision) was purchased thru Micron
Micron's agreement with HP is that HP has a 29 day turn around time
on getting us a new server

Micron is looking into shipping us one of their servers
Anyone using a Micron server out there?

Hmmm .. one other thing after re-reading your msg ...

"I have reformatted the drives and done a fresh install on Vantage
and progress TWICE"

If you can reformat a drive then the drive probably hasn't "Failed".

I'd take a good look at your RAID controller - what are you using?

You might try attaching the drives to your std SCSI controller without the
mirror and see what happens. Yes, I know you loose the protection but it
might nail down the RAID controller as the offending device.

I am running NT 4.0
And I stay away from M$ Pathces as much as possible on my servers
The Vanatage drives are independant of the OS Drive
So no I have not did a M$ Patch on it at all
