I want to set the Customer_CustID field ReadOnly when I'm creating a new customer in Customer Entry

It’s just that we decided to change the CustID from a string of text to a unique number that will be an incremented number. I can,t change that decision so I’m trying to think of the best way to implement it in Epicor.

Thanks !! I guess I didn’t try Enabled like this. I think I tried in Extended Properties but I don,t think it worked.

With your code, it does exactly what I wanted, even after adapter GetNewCustomer

Good. Might need to think about re-enabling it when a second new customer is to be added
