This isn't really a SC question, but maybe someone else has run into
this.
My server where I run SC and the web services endpoints also runs a
couple of other sharepoint sites, but the Web Services directory is on
the default web site.
I've had a problem since I set the server up where despite everything
I've tried I can't get IIS to listen on localhost.
I've used 'httpcfg set listen -i 0.0.0.0' (and 127.0.0.1) and
restarted IIS Admin and my default web site is listening on port 80
"(All Unassigned)", but I still can't connect, and I 'netstat -an'
doesn't show anything listening on 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1.
Any ideas? The reason that this matters to SC is that its difficult
to separate SC testing from production without a separate environment,
and right now all of my workflow web service endpoints have to point at
http://servername/ (vs. http://localhost/) in order to function.
