Illegal operation

Thanks Diane,

I wish the error message would only come up if the users were only trying to
print but it comes up at random times. It seems to come up when the users
are simply using vantage. It would kick them out after hitting an ok button,
or when they were entering a part number or random things like that. It
makes it hard to track down the cause of an error when the symptoms are
random like that. Thanks for the idea though.

Dave - a couple thoughts...

I was having a similar problem on my own workstation for some time - the
culprit was my hard drive being too full. It only happened though when I
tried to print something. As soon as I feed up some space the errors went
away.

We have also seen problems like this when trying to print vantage forms
that
have been modified with Crystal. It does not do it all the time so we
cannot recreate it at will - thus no fix as of yet. I know there are
others
on the list having the same problems, who are also waiting for a fix.

Just a couple things to check - hope this helps.

Hello Everyone,

I have been having some weird things happening with my vantage
yesterday and today. The clients keep getting illegal operation errors
and
then are booted from vantage. The error title is prowin32 This program
has
performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. When I hit details
it
says that prowin32 caused an invalid page fault in module PROW32.dll
at.....
and then gives an address. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
I
rebooted my server yesterday to see if that would fix the problem. It
seemed
to end the errors yesterday for about an hour then they started up again
but
not with the same frequency. Any help will be very much appreciated.

I am running v 5.10.130 on an NT4.0 server
