Importing BOM into eManufacturing

We make molds with hundreds of parts as well, and this is one of our
problems with ABOM.

It pulls everything in at the top level assembly. If we want to import it,
we need to break it down by subassemblies, and add each subassembly to our
part master. Then, when we import al of the BOM's every component will get
added to our part list, another thing we don't like. therefore, we don't
use it.

---------------------------------
What is a good way (ie foolproof?) of importing the BOM from CAD
software into eManufacturing 5.0? Our molds produce BOMs with a
hundred or so parts for use in a large mold and when we try to import
it through the Advanced BOM module, it wants to put it all at the top
assembly or we can break it down into subassemblies but it seems
counterproductive. Does anyone have any suggestions?
