We’re seeing Function Library imports fail consistently for our larger libraries (roughly 80KB+ efxj, dozens of functions) — smaller libraries import fine. Reproduced identically via:
- REST call to Ice.Lib.EfxLibraryDesignerSvc/ImportLibrary
- Solution Workbench installing a package containing the library
- Function Library Designer UI (import via both .efxb and .efxj)
Solution Workbench gives the clearest error:
Microsoft.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Execution Timeout Expired.

So it’s timing out inside the circular-reference check Epicor runs during import validation, not anything on our end — same failure via REST, Solution Workbench, and the Designer UI rules out a client/network cause.
Has anyone else hit this “SQL Execution Timeout” in LibraryReferencesAnalyzer.LoadMesh during Function Library import, especially on larger libraries? Started suddenly with no changes on our side. Any known fix or workaround. Thinking it started after the minor upgrade to 2026.103.0
