Incoterms now exists in 2023.2

There are new fields in Quote Entry and Order Entry for “Incoterms” and “Incoterms Location”, as well as a new program “Incoterms Maintenance”.

I’ve just now discovered them… so it will really happen.

Along with Incoterms added:
I also see in 2023.2 and “alias” field added to Menu Maintenance but the functionality to search on this field will not be available until 2024.1 per tech support.
2 new menu security groups were added, Data Directive for Kinetic and Methods Directives for Kinetic but I don’t see them added to menu security anywhere.
Third, Under System Management / Activity Tracking
Activity Type Maintenance
Activity Tracking Detail
It’s supposes to track if you run a BAQ, BPM, Menu or report style but I haven’t see anything get logged yet and have a support ticket open on it.

These two Security Groups DO inhibit running those programs unless you’re a member of the group. Menu Security Maintenance does NOT show that those groups have any different security than any other group, and even as Security Manager you can’t run BPM programs UNLESS you are also a member of the groups at the user level.

Interesting how they made those as Security Groups and not checkbox-level permissions on the User Account.

Since we have a User Account Check Box for “BPM Advanced User” how does this work with the new groups?

I always thought that BPM Advanced User allowed Code, which grants access to the DBContext which can bypass Field, Territory, Site, and Company security.
