I'm looking to see if there is a better way to handle indirect costs. Currently when we get the payroll information back, we have to add up all of the indirect labor, and then manually add it to the open jobs. In order for the jobs to be costed correctly, we have to wait for the info to come back from the payroll compay (possibly 2 weeks). This slows down the job closing and makes having a good cutoff and an up-to-date inventory extremely difficult. Is there an easy way to automate this? Or maybe a different method all together?
