Thanks to all who replied, I did manage through trial & error to figure this out myself. Talking to you guys in the States is like calling Mars, long lag time. (actually calling Mars is only about 23 minutes round trip)
As for the pubs. Yes, fortunately they do close. If they didn't, Australia would grind to a halt as 60% of the workforce would be totally blotto (and that includes the females!) :-)

That was just my reply; David was the original poster. Oops, just noticed
that I put an extraneous "dot" in EmployeeNum. Ah well... he'll figure it
out ok tomorrow. Looks like David is on Aussie time, so he's probably out
closing down the bars or something now. Or do they close there ?!

Hi all,
I am trying to write a report in CRW 7 for Vantage 4, and need to link LaborDtl.employeeNum to the employee basic table. All I have in the labordtl table is EmployeeNum which doesn't seem to link to anything except the LaborHed table.
I am trying to show employee ID, employee name, total indirect labour for that employee per workcentre in a set period.
Can anyone help, or am I barking up the wrong table?

Link LaborDtl.Employee.Num to EmpBasic.EmpID Someone bunged things up,
and got the names inconsistent. But it'll work.

Yep, already sussed this out, thanks. It helps when the fields which are supposed to be linkable are at least the same name! :-)
