We had a couple of reasons why this happened to us.
We added a user name but no password to the odbc connection when we moved
from V3 to V4, this caused the same error as yours to occur. To fix this, we
had to set the location and verify all reports (and all subreports).
The other thing I have seen which causes this on one PC only, is odbc driver
corruption. Completely uninstall and re-install your odbc driver &
configuration on the client machine which causes the problem. Make sure
someone has not installed another odbc configuration in User DSN instead of
or as well as System DSN.
