Inserting new line in Sales order /Quote entry

Hi All,

Is it possible to ADD a quote line / order line in the middle of a quote or order?
For example, if you have an order with 100 lines, but later when following the customer PO you have missed out line 50 and have to enter the same .
Most time paste update option will result in errors like row has been updated by another user in quote entry. Any standard way to achieve this other than exporting to excel and rearrange and paste update to grid.

Not really. There is a POLine field on sales order lines (not sure if this is on quote lines to). I’ve used this as an “alternate” line number that can then be used to sort grid views and ssrs reports
