Is it really worth it? What do you do there? What do you get out of it? I have struggled with it because I have to decide if this is a battle worth fighting for with my CFO.

I'm going and teaching a class on BPM's in 8.03 since we are currently
converting to E9.

Benefits include meeting other users to share war stories. Plus you get to
meet folks from Epicor and ask them any question that comes to mind. You
will also get a better understanding of different parts of the software.

Definitely worth the price of admission.

"What you get? A week in Vegas not enough?"

Besides the obvious enticing venue, the ability to network with peers and
Epicor staff (face-to-face) is priceless.

The classes taught by Epicor staff are usually not worth it, IMO. But
classes/seminars given by non-Epicor personnel are usually creative and
really spark out-of-the-box thinking and are immediately applicable in the
real-world (versus reading some boilerplate lesson plan that has been
reviewed by Epicor Legal).

This will be my 2nd Epicor conference, the first one was kind of overwhelming since we had just bought the software and had only seen presentations on how to use it. I think this time around will be much more educational.
Jose/Vic...would love to know which classes both of you are involved in teaching since I've very much enjoyed your contributions on the list since the beginning and I agree that Epicor Inc. classes can leave much to be desired.

Ensuring your customizations are system wide. (Accounting for all screens,

Properly setting extended attributes

Importing, exporting and packaging customizations.
