Is there a way to process FA(First Article) inspections without generating a DMR?
FA (First Article) = The first batch or sample of a part we receive from a supplier (usually for a new part or a new supplier).
It’s inspected to verify that the supplier can meet our specs before full production begins.
DMR (Discrepant Material Report) = A record of failure or defect when materials or parts do not pass inspection.
Can we record FA inspection results and track failures separately from production DMRs, so the data doesn’t get mixed up?
