Install Handheld MES on a MC9090?

Hi Tony,

I asked a very similar question the other day.

Basically you install MES on a server (not the server that hosts Vantage), then you need to make this a Terminal Server, which requires you to purchase some licences (one per connection).

To be honest our IT guys installed the TS etc on the server.

Take the MES shortcut on the server, copy it, rename it XYZ 8.03 HH (for handheld). Right click, go to properties, and change the word MES to HH (this will give you the hand held screen not the mes screen).

Then you create the connection from you hand held to the network - presumably wireless.

Then create a shorcut on your hand held (havent got this far yet) linking to that shortcut on the server then it is supposed to work.

Cheers,

CHRIS

Are there any instructions for setting up Handheld MES on a Symbol MC9090?
I realize you don't actually install on the handheld, but would like some help with the TS connection, setting it up, etc.

Thank you for any help
