Installation Error

I get System.InvalidOperationException: 7-zip invocation failed when installing Epicor Kinetic. I disable the antivirus and run it as administrator, but nothing seems to make it work.

This is the whole error message:

CRC issues indicates you have a bad zip. Delete it, redownload.

I did that a couple of times, and same error persist.

Are you unzipping the entire thing (and mounting it, if its a base release)?

I am using Epicor Client Installer. The installer runs everything automatically.

Ah i was thinking server side. Still CRC error usually indicates a bad file. It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that file is corrupt at the source. Perhaps you can get a guinea pig to download the same file and attempt to install.

What URL are you downloading the installer from? Kinetic Client Installer Downloader?

Yes, that is where I am getting the installer.

Odd we just downloaded a copy ourselves today and it’s working.
