Installing a Client

Most of the shorcuts placed into the start menu for the client are
set up for connection to network shares. Make sure your Epicor folder
is shared and acessible by \\<yourcomputername>\epicor

At least that's what comes to mind...

I'm setting up a test server on my PC. My 3.4 GHz dual core with 2gig
RAM PC currently has 8.03 installed, but the installation is directed
towards our live and test databases. To set the server up I've
installed the 8.03 Server software, and the Open Edge, but whenever I
try to install the client to actually run this new database the
MfgSys803Client.exe tells me that "The directory selected does not
contain the client install folder. Please retry your selection." Why
is it getting hung up?

Thanks,

Paul
