Frank:

I know it seems elementary, but make sure he is actually using the name and
password you gave him...Vantage doesn't care if he's logged in thirty times
(if you have thirty seats, the same user can be logged in that many times).
I have one user that does this all the time-but she forgets that her user ID
is her first name and last initial. You might try clearing his password and
entering a new one. Worst case: delete him and re-enter him as a user, but
make sure you know what groups and security rights he has first.

Just my experience.

Subject: [Vantage] INVALID USER ID

I have a user trying to log on to Vantage and he gets an error message
"invalid user ID". He isn't disabled in the user settings and it seems that
maybe Vantage is recognizing him as already signed in. Can anyone steer me
in the right direction as to possibly killing an earlier session he might be
in conflict with? Or what should I try doing? Thanks very much.
