Inventory Report

Has anyone created a report similar to the Inventory / WIP Reconciliation
report in Vantage?

I had some users ask if it was possible to add job numbers to
it. Apparently, some transactions, like Stk-Mtl and Stk-Asm don't
reference any job or assy number.

I know this is a big hairy report with lots of options that probably can
not be fully recreated in a report building tool. But even something that
duplicated some if its functionality would be helpful. Or for that
matter, even suggestions! Is it pulling all that info from PartTran ?

I am writing a Crystal Report to show our Inventory that we haven't sold in
a while. The problem I have is figuring out Allocated Quantities. Does
anybody know what table it might be in, or how is it generated?

I am looking for a report, or advice on making a report (in either Crystal, or Report Builder) That would list All Inventory associated with a particular Company.
I am new to reports, but I am able to develop a report that will list All Inventory in the building, and a Report that will list All Companies we deal with, but when I try to put them both together (using a filter based on company name) I get nothing
Can anyone send me an example of this, or piont me to the correct 'fields'

Good Morning,

I have to create an RB Report that will tell me if I, at any point
throughout the year had more than XX amount of a particular product on hand
(Tier II Haz Mat Products). This report needs to look at not only the amount
of material itself but the amount of the item included in other products as
well. Therefore if I had 100 gallons of PRODUCT A on hand and had 100
gallons of PRODUCT B on hand and PRODUCT B is made up of 25% of PRODUCT A, I
would need to report that I have 125 gallons of PRODUCT A in my facility.

I think I can use a user defined field in the part master to define which
parts I need to report on. I am however having trouble trying to figure out
how to select only the items that had an on hand amount greater than X at
any given point in the year. Can anyone offer any suggestions to accomplish
this?

Thank You

I would like to create a Inventory report using Report
builder. What I need to see is old parts that I have.
We want to be able to track part that has not been use
for a year or more. I tried using the PartTrans and
PartBin files. We are lot control, so I thought that I
could just
link the two fiel and get what i need but i haven't
been able to get it. Does anyone out there have any
sugestion or a report already created to do this.
Thank you,
Larry Barriere

OK, I am dying here, someone please help me. This can't be that
difficult. I am trying to create a report that will show the following
information by PLANT grouped by PART.

Part Number, Min Qty, Max Qty, Current on hand quantity. (Ideally I
would like it to include Sum of STK-CUS transactions per part YTD as
well but I can address that in a sub report if necessary)

I have tried using the PartWhse table as it has all of the fields named
above, however, it doesn't really seem to store Min and Max quantities
as I get "0" for all parts for both of those fields despite the fact
that I have assigned these values in the Part Master.

I have tried the PartPlant table, it contains Part Number, Min and Max
but does not have On Hand. It shows the appropriate Min and Max values,
however, when I join the PartWhse table to get on hand balance(or the
PartBin table for that matter) the On Hand quantity does not summarize
accurately. I have tried different joins, left, right etc. and no
matter, I get bogus values. To add to that, the Min and Max fields for
that table will display as "0" as well when joined in this fashion.

Can someone please offer some advice?

Thanks in advance

Todd,

I'm assuming you're using Crystal since you mention subreport...

Create the main report to show the min, max, etc. that you want. Then, create a subreport on the PartBin (I think this is still correct...but you may want to double check) linking main to subreport on part number. This will get you the onhand.

Create another subreport on PartTran filtering on Stk-Cus transactions again linking by Part number for the total YTD info.

Should do the trick for you.

Mike
