Inventory Usage Report

Can anyone tell me where the report gets its information and what exactly
the information is supposed to tell me? I am looking for a report to
summarize usage of raw goods by jobs built. Can anyone help me on this
issue?

Thank you,

Lori

We are on 6.1 and wondering if the reports within Vantage can be
modified. If so, how would I go about doing that?

I was interested in modifying the Inventory Usage Report.

Thanks,

Ms. Delores: The Inventory Usage report in Vantage 6.1 is
a "Progress" report and not a Crystal report. So the short answer is
NO that report cannot be changed.

However, you could create your own inventory report using ODBC and
Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access, or any other ODBC comliant
reporting tool.

Just to add my two cents.

Dave0 is correct in that you cannot modify this particular report
from within Vantage but you can modify it using Excel. I do not know
what you need to do with the data but we have run into similar
problems with built-in reports, with not being able to modify them.
What I have shown my users is you can use the text in the Vantage
report and copy it to a program like Excel and modify the data to fit
your needs. It is an easy process that my users understand with just
one or two examples of showing them the process.
