Yes counts are warehouse /plant specific but when we posted epicor just
went out to different plants and emptied the part from a warehouse/bin in
that plant with a negative STK-STK transfer but never entered a positive
stk-stk the finacial did move but the product was lost. we did not want
this too happen as we were doing the invnetory in the specific
plant/warehouse that we posted. There is no pattern that we have been able
to figure out yet as to how it chose what parts to do this to and what
plant to take them from but when it did it it took that bin to 0.

I just wanted to post this to warn other users that are on 9.05.702 that there is a known issue when posting inventory for both physical and cycle counts. we just did our physical invnetory and when we posted it did negative stk-stk transfers in other plants and had not positive stk-stk and no rhyme or reason on which parts it did but we had 1500 parts effected by this and come to find out it was a known issue SCR#121271

I just thought I would pass on the information so that someone else doesn't go through what we are going through now.
Could you please elaborate a bit? We are only a single plant single
warehouse company but aren't counts plant / warehouse specific? It sounds
to me like you were expecting it to transfer things from one plant to
another.
