Invoice Aging Inquiry - No YTD Avg Days to Pay

I spoke to Epicor Support and the root of this was confusion about which year an invoice was counted into the average for. Apparently, contrary to what my boss assumed, it bases it on the invoice date not the payment date. So only items invoiced AND paid in 2003 will show in the YTD Avg Days to Pay. Items invoiced last year, even if paid this year, show in the LYTD column. We hunted around and found a customer that actually paid for something already that was invoiced this year (oh my gosh!) and it does show an average days to pay. So no bug, just a misunderstanding of how it decided what year to put it in.

Subject: [Vantage] Invoice Aging Inquiry - No YTD Avg Days to Pay

Since the start of the new year the Invoice Aging Inquiry screen in Customer Tracker has not been showing any amount for average days to pay. We have verified that there have indeed been payments in 2003 but it is reporting zero days to pay (we wish). It does show average invoice amount and the correct number of invoices YTD.

Anyone else see this or know if it is a known problem?
