Is There any Field that record the Oringal jobnum when Split it

You can check the data dict. If it's there it would be in the labordtl.
In thinking about the question, the system creates adjustments when
splitting jobs (negative to the split from and positive to the split to)
so I am going to surmise the answer is no. It is a WIP transaction (and
therefore inventory transaction) so I believe that again, the answer is
no.

Charlie,

Good to know for future reference. Would you happen to know if the same
is true of LaborDtl? (That would, by far - if true, be potentially more
useful to us as a result of our own little twist on the job management
process.)

Thx

Rob

When a job is split, the current costs are split as well. The PartTran

has those transactions and has two job numbers, the job that was split

and the split job. If the job has no activity on it, you would probably

have a problem chasing it down, but check the PartTran to make sure.

I don't think so (but honestly not positive). If you change logging enabled on the right fields that may be your only audit trail.
