Issue material for facilities

If its not going to be used in a job, just ship it. Shipping it is the transaction and will relieve it from inventory plus it will give you a record of where it went.

Subject: [Vantage] Issue material for facilities

Hi,

Just looking for ideas on how you might handle the issuing of
manufacturing material to something other than a job.

An example; a guy needs a Hubble connector to fix an electrical cord.
Instead of going to Home Depot, he wants to use one we stock. We don't
mind him taking it, but don't know what type of transaction to use.

Thanks,

Bruce

Bruce, we just do a Quantity Adjustment and in the reference field give additional info on who and why.
