# Issue Part without Partnumber

Hello,

We create POs with "other" part type for items that we do not have part numbers. When we receive them into Epicor we cannot find the "other" parts to issue them to a job or person. Has anyone else run into this? Does everything need a specific part number to be issued?

Are they purchased directly for the job or are these parts that are stocked but just not set up as a part in Epicor?

They are samples that we order on a PO. They are ordered for projects that have job numbers.
