Issue with Attachments / Sharepoint after 2024.2 upgrade

Hi, we recently upgraded to 2024.2 in December. Our attachment process worked just fine prior to the upgrade, we saved files to Sharepoint.

Now post upgrade, when I test the connection in Attachment Type Maintenance, I get this error
“Certificate with thumbprint xxxxxxxxx is not found in the digital certificate storage.”

Not getting anywhere with support. Has anyone run into this issue?

Hi,
I haven’t tried linking Sharepoint to Kinetic/Epicor, but from working in Microsoft previously, and still today, I would assume it’s something related to the linking of Sharepoint to Epicor?
Do you know if you would have set up some authentication between the 2 and match a secret to both to make it work?

Sorry for not being able to help more.

Thanks for the help. There is such limited documentation on setting up attachments in Epicor it is difficult to identify where the issue is coming from. Wish support was more helpful!

Go to Digital certificates, and check if there is certificate. maybe you swiped out during upgrade.
If it is not there anymore, then go though installation steps again, that is create self-signed, save it, add to Azure AD (Entry), assign to SPO attachments.

Thank you! That was it! I created a new certificate in Kinetic, but I’m getting hung up on the next step. When adding to the Azure AD, is that in my Sharepoint or Kinetic?

In Attachment Type Maintenance, you specify application ID to use with SPO, this is application you should update in Azure AD
