Issue with Country during a Customer DMT import

I’m having a pretty weird issue that I can’t seem to recover from. I’ve populated the Customer template to perform a DMT. Every row I’m attempting to import states:

Company: MYCOMPANY CustID: ARTU Country: United States not found

The Country field in the DMT template indicates it’s an x(50) field. This leads me to believe it’s the full country name and not the ISO code. I’ve attempted using ISO codes and the full names without any success.

I also attempted registering “United States” in the Country menu however when I import it gives me the same error.

At this point I’m at a complete loss as to what I might be doing wrong. cries

I was doing parts this week and had to do CountryNum which set the Country. I would probably try the same and use CountryNum which you would need to vlookup from your country table to set.

That really should be documented and clearly outlined. If I can’t set the value directly via DMT then either the template builder description of the error could help indicate “Set this field via CountryNum”.

The Epicor UI for Country doesn’t even show the CountryNum field, have to generate a BAQ to export the result to retrieve it.

Sigh.
