Marco,

I did the equivalent to the BPM code you gave using the BL tester (Business Logic tester).

The row refuses to allow updating - and gives a 4GL stop only on this labordtl row.
Thank you so much for your effort,
Dave

How about... create a BPM that will uncheck the active transaction issue

From the part.update methos:

For each ttpart no-lock:

Find first labordtl where
Labordtl.company = cur-comp and
Labordtl.employeenum = "ABC" and
Labordtl.jobnum = "123" and
Labordtl.oprseq = 10 and
Labordtl.activetrans = true and
Labordtl.payrolldate = 6/15/12 exclusive-lock no-error.

If avail labordtl then do:

Assign labordtl.activetrans = false.

End.
End.

This should open the labor transaction for you to delete in time and expense... try it in the training database first.

Thank you for the reply.

Your suggestion is not the case - we do not have any BPM's attached to any Labor-involved tables.

We usually get the 4GL stop error when it's a BPM not running properly...

Try turning off your BPMs and then deleting the transactions.

Hi all,

I have 2 labor detail transactions from 5 days ago that are "stuck".

I cant delete the transactions (using Time and Expense) or Delete via BO code.

I get a 4GL stop on LaborAdapter.Delete.

It appears to be a data corruption within the table.

Epicor has asked that I run the 8920/8930 admin programs to clear things out
- all this has done is allow the employee to clock in on another day into other jobs.

The original job remains "stuck".

Does anyone know any techniques to attack this kind of issue ?

Thank you,
