Issues with stock items

Make sure your parts are set as stocked at both the part AND plant level (particulalry if you are single plant)... Very easy to glance at the Part level, see non-stock unchecked and assume the Plant (which over-rides) is set differently.

We process hundreds of make-direct jobs daily and I've never seen this fail when things are set right.

we have noticed that the make direct box is checked by default if we convert a quote to a sales order. this appears to work as designed so we added within our process sheets to uncheck it. other than that it has worked as expected.
