ah, the BOM was missing an operation with the Labour backflush
setting. seems to work ok now. going test it more thoroughly from
all angles.

with.

say we do our planning and production offline, then with a daily
production report, what is the best way to enter these completed job
quickly and efficiently into Vantage?? we would like the system to
log the jobs, backflush the materials, and book in the competed products.

i've tried Kanban Receipts, it does the job creation/closing elements,
and finished stock book in, but no materials were backflush nor was
there any financial figures in the Chart of Accounts.

I am live on 6.1 and use Kanban receipts all the time. Your message
prompted me to try the 8.03 database that I am currently testing. It worked
as expected: i.e. from job creation; materials and labor backflush; as well
as writing to the control accounts. Perhaps there is something missing in
your set up. First I would check all the control accounts - WIP; Raw
materials; Finished Goods; and assure those are set up correctly in the
company config. Then check the BOMs for the parts you are trying to Kanban.
Be sure that the BOMs are approved and raw materials (And labor if
applicable) required for the part are in fact included in the BOM at the
right quantities.
