Is it possible to issue a job component part to another job as component? In my mind, i am thinking of a transaction like MTL-MTL or ASM-MTL. If it is possible, can someone point me to how this could be achieved? Would it be possible across different plants?

It could be a non inventory component part, that’s why i am trying to figure out the best way to move it from one job to another rather than receive it back to inventory and transfer to another job.
Sometimes, the component could be worked on in one plant then (transferred?) to another plant to do other work as a job component there.
Add a Make to Job demand link.
But isn’t the Make to Job demand link for top level part going into another job as component? I want the component of a job going into as a component on another job (possibly in a different plant).
When you say component, is that a purchased part or manufactured?

because once partial work is done in one plant, the component will be sent to another plant for more work, then it will be return to the current plant again to be finished. This will be all R&D work.
Once work is done, it is no longer a component. It is part of the assembly. It would be like subcontracting, which I’ve never tried via multi-site.
You can add an Operation to a routing and change the Scheduling Resources to reflect the Site you want to manufacture in.
