It seems that this only occurs after performing a Labor adjustment to a job.
After correcting labor details that are locked!!! (We've had this
discussion.)

If you do a labor adjustment to a job, in our case when the wrong job number
was written on a timecard, we reverse the transaction through Labor
adjustment from the wrong job and add it to the correct one. In either case
the total material cost are comprised only of the amount of the adjustment
and ignores several material transactions listed on the Production detail
report.

We are experiencing two different problems found during job closing and
reflected on the production detail report. I was just wondering if anyone
else has noticed any discrepancies on this report since converting from 4.0.

Problem 1:

Material transactions back flushed prior to our 5.0 conversion are not
included in the total actual material cost. Just transactions after the
conversion are included in the total. All transactions are listed on the
report.

Problem 2:

A credit memo created to reverse a packslip/invoice that used the incorrect
line from the sales order appears on both jobs related/linked to that sales
order. The credit memo was linked to only one line item on the sales order.

Any ideas or information would be appreciated.

We are experiencing similar difficulties with job costing.
Costs incurred by material transactions in 4.0 are not moving from
wip to cos with shipment and capture of wip/cos in 5.0.We have
advised epicor and fix is scheduled for patch 308.
