Job entry Audit Log

OK thanks. Still learning 9.05 haven't even gotten to BPMs yet so not sure
how they work or how to "wrap 'em" :-)

Yeah, I've heard other people complain about it too. I believe you can wrap
a BPM around this to take care of it without much trouble.

I am in the process of moving from 6.1 to 9.05 and found that in 9.05 after releasing a job, the job audit log can be left blank, where in 6.1 you must enter something in that block to save changes. Looked in set up and config for a missing check box perhaps but found nothing. Is there a way in 9.05 for that to be mandatory as in 6.1?

Thanks!
Maybe Company Configuration?

Yes that was the first place I looked and found I had duplicated what I have
in version 6.1 and already checked that off, but I guess that doesn't mean a
mandatory entry. When the prompt comes up and you click OK with no entry in
the dialogue box, a message comes up like "Change Description left blank"
and there's nothing written to that log.

Thanks

Stan

Yes, I can't remember how it worked in 6.1.

I do think what you describe is the behavior now, starting in V8.
You may be able to customize the form or add a BPM?
